Java novice and Gourmet S’mores Kit giveaway #9

Submitted by on May 11, 2010 – 1:18 pm9 Comments

It is only Tuesday, but it feels like this week is on wheels, headed down a hill. Not downhill as in going badly, just picking up momentum. Last night my head hit the pillow before 11 P.M. for the first time in what feels like weeks, and the affect on my outlook this morning was, in a word, refreshing.

Still, there is laundry to do, suitcases to pack (with clothes AND sleeping bag, pillow, towels, flashlight, earplugs, fresh vanilla marshmallows…you know, the normal vacation gear), business cards to print, PowerPoint presentations to polish and save to disk, and children to kiss and squeeze enough to last me four days.

What would come in handy right about now is a steaming cup of coffee. Only, I have never developed a coffee habit.

Sure, I have a lifelong chocolate habit, and a more recent Trader Joe’s pub cheese habit. In my middle school days, I used to have a Diet Coke and Doritos habit, which morphed into a Taco Bell habit, thanks to my older sister. For a brief while, there was an octopus-in-a-tin habit (check the Spanish section of your local grocer) and my husband reminds me, a linguini with white clam sauce habit (pregnancy-induced, from a can preferred). While only the chocolate and pub cheese habits are still going strong, I realize that I have had little culinary space to develop the coffee habit.

But if I were ever in need of that kick in the seat provided by a cuppa joe, it would be today. And possibly tomorrow. Because the day after that, I head to Camp Blogaway with my Vanilla Marshmallows to share some amazing gourmet s’mores with my fellow campers.

With that in mind, I will send you to to find out which Kohana Coffee was named exclusively for Once you find out, come back to this post and leave your answer in a comment. Then you will be entered to win your own Gourmet S’mores Kit from in honor of Camp Blogaway. You can find out more about the prize here. For a second chance at winning today’s giveaway, tell me about your coffee habit, or lack thereof, in a separate comment. And remember, all of your entries will count toward tomorrow’s final giveaway as well.

Bottoms up!

Update: Congratulations to Susan, who is the winner of Gourmet S’mores Kit giveaway #9. Check back for giveaway #10 and your last chance to snag one of these awesome prizes for yourself.
