Lindsay Olives Urges Fans to “Take Lindsay with You!”
Showcasing Lindsay Olives as the Perfect On-the-Go Snack Could Result in a $1,000 Prize
LAFAYETTE, Calif. (June 13, 2012) – Lindsay Olives, America’s number one selling olive brand, today announced the launch of its Facebook photo contest, “Take Lindsay with You.” The contest encourages Lindsay Olives’ Facebook fans to take Lindsay Olives on the road with them this summer and share their experiences for a chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card and one year’s supply of olives, which will include Recloseables, Natural Green Ripe and Sliced Black Ripe olives. In addition to first place, four runner-up prizes of $250 gift cards will be given out.
The Facebook “Take Lindsay with You” contest will run from June 15 through July 15, 2012. Participants upload pictures of how they take Lindsay Olives products with them. After uploading, each photo submitted will be eligible for voting and the picture with the most “likes” at the end of the contest will win.
The social media campaign is designed to remind consumers that olives are a healthy snacking option that are easy to transport and ideal for a busy, on-the-go lifestyle. Taking olives to the beach for the day, providing a tasty treat for the swim team or bringing olives to a neighborhood barbeque – it’s the perfect take-it-with-you food item.
