Tastestopping issues open call for editorial submissions
Malvern, PA – March 4, 2010 – TasteStopping, which features the rejected photos of food bloggers from around the world, is making fresh waves in the blogging community by being the first food porn site to publish editorial content contributed by guest bloggers.
“This is one more way that TasteStopping is working to create a fun, welcoming and mutually beneficial experience for food bloggers with differing levels of experience, from diverse backgrounds,” says Casey Benedict, founder of TasteStopping.
The new series, called “BYO,” will highlight a wide range of topics from finding inspiration in the kitchen to quick tips to make your food photography more appetizing, and will even incorporate original recipes, all submitted by bloggers looking to connect with a larger foodie audience. The premier installment will feature a piece from Kelly Jaggers who runs the FoodBuzz Blog Awards-nominated www.EvilShenanigans.com. Kelly appears on TasteStopping after her recent participation in Kelly Ripa’s Cake Off for a Cause, sponsored by Electrolux to raise awareness of and funding for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
The series will continue on a regular basis and is open to any interested food blogger or food writer. Though TasteStopping is a site devoted to food and food photography, submitted articles need only have a loose connection to the theme of food.
“I encourage interested bloggers to use their BYO editorial as a way to explore topics about which they are passionate, but that might not fit as neatly at their own sites,” explain Benedict.
TasteStopping is accepting new guest bloggers to contribute to the BYO series. To pitch an idea, send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. And like all submission to TasteStopping, the good news is, it’s a sure thing.
