TasteStopping to Launch Progressive Party Blogging Event Series
Malvern, PA—June 11, 2010—In a move designed to connect food and drink bloggers with food industry professionals, TasteStopping is launching an exciting blogging opportunity. The TasteStopping Progressive Party event series will feature a new sponsored food theme each month. Six talented bloggers will be selected to develop one original recipe incorporating that theme in one of the following courses: cocktail, amuse bouche, salad, appetizer/soup, entrée, dessert. Each month will feature the dramatic reveal of a new food theme, the participants and the recipes involved, as well as a dynamic promotional campaign aimed at traditional food media outlets.
This first-of-its-kind event is designed to directly connect food bloggers with members of the food PR community. Both parties stand to benefit immensely from that connection.
“Food bloggers can expand their brands, showcase their talent with recipe development and begin to learn how to work with the PR industry,” says Casey Benedict, founder of TasteStopping and the Progressive Party series. “These are all valuable opportunities as the online food community grows and evolves.” TasteStopping welcomes bloggers of all levels of experience to the Progressive Party blogging series event.
On the flip side, PR companies stand to gain a great deal from participation in the event series as well. “Not only does this Progressive Party series offer wonderful positive visibility and online saturation for their food clients, but also helps them create lasting relationships with the rising stars of the food blogging community,” says Benedict.
PR representatives interested in harnessing the power of the online food community to promote their clients’ food products are encouraged to contact TasteStopping at info@tastestopping.com.
