This looks so tasty! Wtf, “fork is distracting”? It’s FOOD. I really think they have gone too far with the prissy, uptight aesthetic whereby food should look like it was created only to be tied up in bows and photographed and not to be eaten. It’s a very old-fashioned and small-c conservative idea about styling and I’m glad most of the professionals moved on from it years ago, but somehow in the food blogging world it only ever seems to gain traction.
